When the craving for breakfast calls it cannot be denied. I was wanting something sweet and French toast is always my go too for a breakfast delight. We decided to stop at Bacon and Eggs Downtown. Although the outdoor patio is still in full bloom, we chose to sit inside instead.

Step one for me here is always order a Hot Cocoa, it is something special, a work of art even. Next, ordering. I always read the entire menu yet end up ordering the same thing. This visit was not different.

    Brioche French Toast

Brioche French Toast was my choice, Wheatland Bakery brioche dripped in a delicious orange cinnamon batter. Served dusted in powdered sugar with butter and Syrup on the side. You have an option to add bananas or whole blueberries, but I enjoy mine plain.

    Phillip’s “build your own”

As for Phillip and his diet, he had the build your own omelet. It’s great to be able control what goodies go in when you are limited in what you can eat—He chose onion, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and bacon—YUM.

Bacon & Eggs sources from many local farms and providers allowing the freshest ingredients for food. We are grateful for another great meal in our lovely town! Have you tried their French toast?
