    Cookie Crumbles

That’s the way the cookie crumbles…

From the moment I seen the social media accounts pop up, I was all over it. I have a soft spot new small businesses.. and dessert shops! I always do a first taste before I write because I really struggle writing about things I do not enjoy—I’d rather forget and move on. These cookies were not the case. Maj1c Cookiez; is a local small business carrying homemade & organic baked goods.

Our first experience with them was at the local Downtown Farmers Market, with a table and their cart. I left with a PB Pendragons and a Double Hocus Pocus—delicious and so fresh. I knew I had to write about them and tell others. Not that we don’t have several great cookie options, I always welcome more; everyone has their own touch.

I found out this business, like many others, doesn’t have a store front. So I had to test out the ordering. I placed my order online via Facebook messenger. I promptly received a request for online payment and they were delivered to my downtown office at my earliest convenience. They were so grateful for our order.

Now that we had our order we could hardly wait to take the photos just so we could “test” them again.. for writing purposes, of course. Boom, Delicious again. This time we ordered the tried and true PB Pendragons (Peanut butter), the Double Hocus Pocus (Chocolate brownie), and the MaddHadder (Snickerdoodle). Each delicious in their own way, the PB Pendragons takes the cake. So rich with a dense peanut butter flavor but still moist and sweet. The star design in place of the traditional criss cross fork design gives them bonus points for aesthetics. Double Hocus Pocus and MaddHadder were delightful but it will be that peanut butter cookie that brings me back so quickly! I encourage you to not take my word for it, order some goodies for yourself! They Offer a variety of options like vegan, Gluten Free, Paleo and Sugar-Free selections.

If you do try them, let me know what you think! I wanna know which cookie is your favorite!
